As your wellness coach, I will take a holistic approach, making a concerted effort to understand your personality and gain detailed insight into your individual wants, needs, motivations, challenges, and aspirations. We will focus on assisting you in setting and achieving your goals, which typically include improving your spiritual, physical, and emotional well-being.
My coaching methods include in-depth questioning, mediated conversations and communication skill training. I will teach you vital skills, tools, and methods while also helping you understand more about yourself. We will focus on solutions and the future but we won't ignore the past, if it's stopping you from moving forward. Consequently, in just a few conversations, you will learn how to overcome your problems, use the many skills and strengths you already possess and learn how to use them to build the relationships and experiences you desire in life.
Preparing For Your Coaching Session
Make a list of your personal goals before the coaching session. What knowledge do you seek? What worries you the most? Consider the session's subject matter and go back to instances in the past where you faced difficulties associated with it.
How To Get The Most Out Of Your Coaching Sessions
1. Determine your goal(s) and/or areas of focus. The most important thing is to identify a focus area and set goals to strive towards. You should come to each coaching session prepared to have important conversations. Although you may have a number of topics to work through, remember that each session should have a specific focus and intention.
2. Keep a journal. I strongly advise keeping some form of journal to take notes on what is going on between coaching sessions. This will not only help you self-reflect, but it will additionally bring real-life scenarios into the session. Sharing specific situations deepens the discussion. Review your notes before the coaching session to help you focus.
3. Maintain an open mind. To assist you find the root of the problem, you will be asked thought-provoking, motivating, challenging, supporting, and powerful questions. When you provide honest and transparent answers, you will have more meaningful results. If a long period of time is spent peeling back layers to get to what is “real," the coaching process will often take longer and may not be as effective. It is helpful to prepare yourself to be vulnerable.
4. Prepare to be challenged. You will be asked powerful questions to help challenge your preconceived ideas and explore other possibilities. You will reflect and think critically. Working with me to achieve your goals will push you to step outside of your comfort zone.
5. Expect change. I'm sure you've heard the phrase, "What got you here won't get you there." To achieve your goals, you will need to change your behaviour, mindset, or beliefs. This requires intentional effort.

TRU Coaching Practice
1. Trust. You will have a safe space where you can speak freely without fear of judgment. What happens in a session stays in a session (at least on my end). One of my biggest responsibilities as your coach is being my clients’ greatest confidants. I have heard the good, the bad, and everything in between. I make a commitment to be there for my clients with an open heart, ready to listen to whatever you need to get off your chests and help you work through it.
2. Rapport. Building a strong connection with my clients is essential to having fruitful coaching relationships. This will ensure that we both have a better coaching experience.
3. Understanding. The foundation of my coaching approach is understanding your reasons for wanting coaching, your goals, and how my knowledge can help you reach them.
